Biography

Jan Lorch has worked for the renowned German family company VAUDE, known as a sustainable, innovative outdoor supplier, for over 20 years. He looks back on a successful corporate career: first employees, then overall sales manager, since 2009 member of the executive board (CSO) and since the beginning of 2010 also head of the “Sustainability Team”. Jan Lorch is an outdoor professional through and through. He sits on the board of the BSI, was part of the expert commission of the “Council for Sustainable Development” that developed the German Sustainability Code and was a member of the 1st steering committee of the Partnerhsip for Sustainable Textiles, which was launched by the Federal Government.
