Biography

With a Textile Design background, Claire has worked within the apparel industry for more than 30 years in a variety of roles. She has gained a wealth of experience working with brands such as Speedo, Bravissimo and VF Corporation and has also lectured in Fashion Communication at Nottingham Trent University. She has been immersed in the world of textile fibres for more than a decade working at The LYCRA company before joining HYOSUNG in 2021 as marketing manager for Europe. Hyosung is one of the largest textile fibre producers in the world. Claire works with brands and retailers to introduce them to the broad range of fibres within the Hyosung portfolio liaising with their supply chains, including garment manufacturers and fabric mills around the world, and assisting in commercial programmes, branding, and marketing. As a keen runner, hiker, and swimmer, she is never happier than when she is on a trail or in the water so it’s no surprise that sustainability is close to her heart.
